I might have been killed!

Terrifying night last night! Pretty sure my cat and my dad tagteamed to save my life last night... It was a freaky. Someone was following me outside in the dark. My cat could see them and kept growling and staying between me and them. I got back inside and was brushing my teeth and heard the back door open. Little bit later heard my dad get up and go downstairs and a few minutes after that the back door opened again. My cat was sitting in front of the bathroom door when I came out and followed me into my room. I stepped on something cold and damp. It was mud from the tred of someone's shoe... Pretty sure they followed me in then left when my dad got up.
